Vaccines we Offer:

Cholera

Cholera is a bacterial infection that causes severe diarrhea and dehydration. It is usually spread through contaminated water or food in areas with poor sanitation. Vaccination and adherence to safe hygiene practices are crucial for prevention.

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis A is a viral infection affecting the liver. It spreads through the consumption of contaminated food or water. Vaccination provides effective protection against this potentially serious illness.

Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B is a viral infection transmitted through blood and bodily fluids. It can lead to chronic liver disease. Vaccination is recommended, especially for those traveling to regions where the prevalence is higher.

Polio

Polio is a viral infection that can cause paralysis. Though efforts have significantly reduced global cases, it’s essential to be vaccinated, especially when traveling to areas where polio still poses a risk.

Diphtheria

Diphtheria is a bacterial infection causing respiratory symptoms. Vaccination, often combined with tetanus and pertussis, is crucial for protection. Boosters may be needed depending on travel destinations.

Typhoid Fever

Typhoid Fever is a bacterial infection causing high fever and gastrointestinal symptoms. It spreads through contaminated food and water. Vaccination and careful food and water precautions are recommended.

Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes. It can lead to severe illness and death. Vaccination is often mandatory for entry into certain countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission

Measles

Measles is a highly contagious viral infection causing fever and a characteristic rash. Vaccination with the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is essential for protection.

Rabies

Rabies is a viral infection transmitted through the bite or scratch of an infected animal. Post-exposure prophylaxis is crucial if bitten, and pre-exposure vaccination may be recommended for certain travelers to high-risk areas.

Tetanus

Tetanus is a potentially serious bacterial infection caused by Clostridium tetani, commonly found in soil. The bacteria enter the body through wounds, cuts, or puncture injuries. Tetanus can lead to muscle stiffness and spasms, and in severe cases, it can be life-threatening. The Tetanus vaccine, often given in combination with diphtheria and pertussis (DTP), provides effective protection. Boosters are recommended every 10 years, especially for individuals traveling to areas where medical care may be limited.

Japanese Encephalitis

Japanese Encephalitis is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes, primarily in rural agricultural areas in Asia. The infection can lead to inflammation of the brain (encephalitis) and is a significant health concern in certain regions. Vaccination is recommended for travelers planning to spend an extended period in areas where Japanese Encephalitis is prevalent. Additionally, preventive measures such as using mosquito repellent and wearing protective clothing can further reduce the risk of infection.
